Standard Access

Standard access is our most common and popular access route. It encompasses most of the experiments run on the beamline where you, the user, will attend in person. This includes ex-situ samples that exceed 20+ and all in-situ experiments. Like the easy access route, this runs in the standard proposal cycle which typically has deadlines in March and October.

For a standard access route, you must consider:

• How much time you will need?

  • See the timings section to estimate times for your beamtime

• How many samples you want to measure?

• Will you be using a temperature device or in-situ environment?
