Allow diffraction scans to complete - Do not cancel while running

Turn off the pilatus in GDA when changing the exposure time - Do not change while streaming

DIAGNOSIS

Pilatus icon is red

Restart the IOC
If this does not clear the error then call BL Staff

Pilatus is not updating

If the icon is not red but the icon does not go green AND/OR the frame is not updating then restart the Pilatus IOC.
Restart the IOC

No scattering signal on detector

Rescale the histogram
Check position of KB mirrors. Do not make any changes in EPICS as this can lead to misalignment of the beamline.

How to restart the Pilatus IOC

IOC stands for

If CS Studio is not already open - In a new terminal type:

tlauncher -f diad

In the lower synoptic panel click the icon labelled Pilatus (highlighted below)

This should open the panel below. On this panel press once the restart IOC. The busy icon will indicate the IOC’s are restarting. This can take up to 3 minutes. Do not do anything until the Done Icon is green.

Once the IOC’s have been restarted you can try scanning again.
