1. Start the Aztec software on the Aztec remote desktop.

2. Create a new project in your session directory.
3. Cool down the detector by clicking on the detector icon in Image Added in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and selecting coolthermal and clicking operate.
4. Once cooled (this will take approx. 5 mins) you can insert the detector by clicking on the detector icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
