Start the Aztec software on the Aztec remote desktop.
- Create a new project in your session directory.
- Cool down the detector by clicking on the detector icon
in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and selecting thermal and clicking operate. Once cooled (this will take approx. 5 mins) you can insert the detector by clicking
selecting position and clicking in. Info When changing samples and at the end of your experiment please warm up and retract the detector by clicking
selecting thermal, standby and position, out.- Select the desired measurement type (Point & ID, Linescan or Map).
Record an image.
Info Drift correction can be activated by clicking settings and selecting autolock.
