This screen is used to control the sequencer and the associated bunch configurations.

Sequencer

This view of the sequencer shows the configuration for state #1.  For a complete view of the sequencer see Sequencer Setup, where all 7 states can be configured and the behaviour of each field is described.

Bunch Bank

This section shows a summary of the setup of each of the four available bunch control banks and provides links to the Bunch Bank Control screen where each bank can be reconfigured.  For each bank the following information is shown (each PV prefixed with $(device):$(axis) and n running from 0 to 3).

TitlePVDescription
FIR select:BUN:n:FIRWF:STASummary of FIR configuration
DAC out status:BUN:n:OUTWF:STASummary of selected DAC output configuration
DAC gain:BUN:n:GAINWF:STASummary of DAC output gain configuration

For each monitored waveform the status report shows one of three things depending on whether individual bunches are have different configurations:

  • If all bunches have the same configuration, a summary of that configuration is shown, eg "Sweep"
  • If one bunch is different, but all the others are the same then the common configuration is shown followed by the unique configuration and bunch position, for example "FIR (Sw+FIR @100)" indicates a DAC output configuration with feedback on all bunches, and sequencer sweep on bunch 100 only.
  • Otherwise the phrase "Mixed FIR", "Mixed outputs", "Mixed gains" is shown as appropriate.

NCO

This allows the fixed frequency oscillator to be controlled.  The following PVs are available, each prefixed with $(device):$(axis):

PVDescription
:NCO:FREQ_SThe NCO frequency can be set to any value in units of cycles per machine revolution.
:NCO:GAIN_SThis is the output gain in steps of 6dB with 0dB representing full scale DAC output.
:NCO:ENABLE_SThis must be set to "On" for NCO output to be generated.
