What kind of experiment can be proposed?
Experiments on I15-1 range from very simple, 1-hour experiments where a user might want to collect a couple of PDFs at room temperature; all the way up to very complex 5-day in situ measurements using a bespoke sample environment.
Access Routes
There are several different ways to get awarded some beamtime on I15-1. More information can be found in the access routes tab.
Diamond/ISIS Joint Proposals
In some cases it is strongly beneficial to collect complementary X-ray and neutron data. Diamond and ISIS have teamed up to provide an easy way into both facilities. Find more information about this proposal route here
