Preparing for an Easy Access Experiment

As well as the steps on the Preparing for an Experiment page, here are some additional points to consider when planning an easy access experiment.

All easy access experiments are run as remote only, meaning that you will not attend Diamond in person. Instead, we will send you the required capillaries in advance of your beamtime; you will upload your sample information to ispyb, load your samples into the capillaries, and return them to us; and your experiment will be performed by beamline staff.

Remote Access

When filling in the UAS, you should ensure you add anyone who will require access to the data, and select “data access only” and tick “remote” next to every participant.
